Beach Cleaning Under the Theme Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) at Ullal Beach

          The Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) 2023 initiative at Ullal Beach, organized by the NSS & YRC volunteers of P.A. First Grade College, Mangaluru, was a resounding success. The beach cleaning drive, held on 2nd October 2023 from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M., paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 154th birth anniversary. Ms Ithashree welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and environmental responsibility. Dr Surfraz J Hasim inaugurated the beach cleaning drive. Mr Musthak from Ullal Town Panchayat commended the volunteers for their efforts.The heart of the event was the active participation of 20 student volunteers who diligently collected plastic waste and other materials. They coordinated with Ullal Town Panchayat for proper disposal. The event garnered significant support from the local community.The Swachhatha Hi Seva 2023 event successfully promoted the values of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
