Induction Program for 1st Year Students

          P. A. First Grade College organized five-day induction program for the 1st year degree students from 30 August 2023 to 05 September 2022. As a part of the induction program students were divided into four groups irrespective of their classes. Each group consists of 75 members and a section in charge, which actively interacted with the students during the time allotted for summing up. The main objective of having an induction program is to introduce multi-disciplinaries to the students to make them learn something new, motivate them to strive hard, be positive, be diplomatic and stay healthy. In order to meet the objective 10 dynamic speakers were chosen to deliver sessions on different topics. "Dr. Surfraz J Hasim: Explore your mind - A Mind Mapping Program (MM), Dr. Sayyed Ameen Ahamed: "Smart Graduation’'- Journey towards successful career (SG), Mr. Mohammed Faizal N: Career Enhancement Program (CNP), Dr. Iqbal and Mr. Ibrahim M: Physical Fitness (PF), Ms. Muneera: Common Errors in English (CEE), Ms. Ashalatha: Balanced Diet, Ms. Ithashree & Ms. Chaithra: Personality Development through NSS, Ms. Deepti Udyavar: Values & Character Education (VCE)" Students actively participated in the activities conducted during the interactive session. Apart from the sessions, on 5 September 2023 invited talk was organized separately to each stream. Induction program successfully ended on 5 September 2023 with valedictory program. Mr. Sharfuddin P K, AGM (Campus) was invited as the guest of honor. Dr. Ramis M K, Principal, PACE, Prof. K P Soofie, Principal, PAPT, Dr. Sayyed Ameen, Dean- Student Affairs & Director-CMSR, Dr. Iqbal, Physical Director, PACE and Mr. Mohammed Faizal N, Head- CPOD were the distinguished guests. Dr. Surfraz J Hasim, Principal, PAFGC presided over the program. All speakers were invited and felicitated with a small token of gratitude and appreciation. Students and speakers shared their views. Program ended with a hope that students will inculcate what is taught to them during the induction program.
