MUCC Career Nova

          The Informative Session on "MUCC Career Nova" was organized by IQAC in collaboration with the Training & Placement Cell on November 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the E-Learning Centre. The resource person for the program was Mr. Shivabasava Chinivala, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Numero Uno Partners. Mr. Santhosh Bangera, Key Accounts Manager at Numero Uno Partners, also graced the event. The sessions were divided into three parts: II years from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, III years between 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and I years between 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. A total of 566 students from P.A. First Grade College participated in the sessions Welcoming and Introduction: The event commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Ayman Basheer of II year BBA. Ms. Reshna Mishriya of I year FND, provided a brief introduction of Mr. Shivabasava Chinivala. In all the sessions, Mr. Chinivala introduced MUCC as an on ground, social media, and dedicated app platform that facilitates connections between ecosystem partners, corporates, students, colleges, and universities. He elaborated on the benefits for students, including career awareness programs, recruitment assistance, and profile enhancement. The speaker also discussed the various programs offered by MUCC, both offline and online, along with their weightages and career growth opportunities. Mr. Chinivala emphasized the importance of skillbased programs and outlined new-age skill requirements, including life skills (flexibility, healthcare, e-commerce), learning skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication), and literacy skills (information literacy, media literacy, technology literacy). Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal of P.A. First Grade College, expressed his appreciation for the speaker and felicitated Mr. Shivabasava Chinivala and Mr. Santhosh Bangera with tokens of gratitude. Ms. Delcy R D’souza, Head- Dept. of Food Sciences, Placement Officer, and other faculty members were present. Mr. Shafeem Moosa of II year BBA, proposed vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers, organizers, and participants. Ms. Fathima of III year B.Com, skillfully conducted the proceedings as the Master of Ceremony.
